Volunteer at Zimfest

An Invitation to Become Part of the Zimfest Family and Make a Difference

Zimfest is made possible completely through the contributions of many volunteers. Both the festival organizing committee and the Zimfest Association board of directors are made up of volunteers who spend hundreds or even thousands of hours each year planning and executing this amazing music event. Many more volunteers are required to actually run the festival. From the registration area to the marketplace to the afternoon and evening concerts to the workshops and all points in between, you will see many volunteers helping to make Zimfest happen.

Because of the enormous importance each volunteer position has for the festival, we ask that each participant volunteer for at least one shift (usually 2 hours). When you register for workshops, housing/meals, and concerts you will be directed to the volunteer sign-up page which has a grid showing all shifts available. Please find one or more shifts that work with your schedule and sign-up to volunteer and become part of the large community that puts on Zimfest every year.

By volunteering you will meet new people, make new friends, feel satisfaction for helping make a great event happen, contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the festival, and have a lot of fun doing it! In addition, your part in helping Zimfest be successful will eventually benefit not only the festival but the people and organizations that receive donations from festival profits.
