Registration Fee

A $12 registration fee is required per participant when signing up for workshops, housing or meals. The registration fee is waived for most members. See membership for details.

Workshops

Workshop prices are dependent on the length of a workshop. Specific prices are listed in the Workshop Search and on each workshop's description page.

Housing and Meals

Please register for on-campus housing by MONDAY, JULY 23.

Dormatory rooms are available at Theophilous Tower and Wallace. Linens are optional at the $10 flat fee per stay.

Note: If NOT purchasing a meal plan there is a different rate for a room. For any day you are purchasing university meals, the room is at the lower rate (see below).

** For rooms in suites, Double Occupancy rates are not applied unless the minimum suite occupancy is met. In Wallace, this is typically 3 or more occupants.

Dormatory rooms are available at the Living Learning Center. Linens are included in LLC rates.

Campus cafeteria meals are available for your convenience at Bob's Place in the Wallace Complex. Please register for meals by MONDAY, JULY 23.

Off-campus options

There are a many off-campus options for lodging and dining. An arrangement for off-campus lodging has been made with the Idaho Inn which is very close to campus. Off-site housing and camping options are listed here, and selected local restaurants are listed here.



Zimbabwean Dinner, Sunday night

$15/person, $8/children aged 4-11, Children aged 0-3 are free. These prices are subject to change.

Advanced tickets are required for the special Zimbabwean Dinner, held in the UI SUB Ballroom before the Sunday evening concert!

Evening Concert Tickets

Evening concerts will occur on Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 3-5 from 7:20 PM to 12:00 AM at the SUB Ballroom.

* Except for "At the door" prices listed above, all ticket prices are for advanced purchase. You may purchase tickets in advance along with your online registration, or through Brown Paper Tickets, or you may buy them on site at the Registration Table. All tickets at the door are one price, regardless of performer status. Everyone must have a ticket or performer pass to enter an evening concert.

Note: Thursday Evening Zimfest Welcome Concert is free and located at Ghormley Park.

Parking on the University Campus

Parking is free in all four SILVER LOTS. Please see the campus map on the Zimfest website, and on the back cover of the festival guide. DO NOT PARK in any Gold, Green, Red, Blue or Purple lot; in spaces marked "Reserved," or in street spaces marked Silver. You will be ticketed. The SILVER LOTS are all near the dorms.

If no space is available in the Silver lots, visitor parking permits are $2 per day and can be purchased at the Parking and Transportation Services Building located on the corner of West 3rd and Line Streets at the northern edge of the U of I campus near Ghormley Park.

Afternoon concerts and the marketplace will take place at Ghormley Park, on the corner of West Third Street and Home Street. Evening concerts will occur at the SUB Ballroom on the East side of campus, within a 5-10 minute walk through campus from the Zimfest Village.
