Zimfest 2012 Artwork Submissions

Zimfest 2012 will celebrate the theme of “Planting the Seeds . . . Reaping the Bounty” Since this is the first time Zimfest has been held in the Inland Northwest, we want to celebrate Palouse colors and landscapes. The artwork must feature the Palouse landscape along with Zimbabwean musical instruments & arts to highlight the upcoming Zimbabwean Music Festival to be held in Moscow.

The artwork will appear on items such as t-shirts, posters, brochures, banners, flyers and Festival guides. The winning artist will be featured in the Festival guide and receives $100, a t-shirt, and a ticket to each of four evening concerts.


The artwork must be submitted by e-mail as a high-resolution image in digital format. The artist must be willing to modify or allow a graphic artist to alter the winning entry for use on our printed materials. The original work will become the property of Zimfest Association. The Zimfest Association will assume all rights to future reproduction of the winning work for promotional and fundraising purposes.

The artwork will be judged on the following criteria:

  1. It meets all specifications in the artwork announcement
  2. It is considered the best representation of the theme.







  1. Completed application form along with image.
  2. Image(s) should be e-mailed in JPG format. Please do not embed image into a Power Point or PDF.
